Remove links from embedded countdowns (Pro Account only)

This only applies to users with a Pro Account who previously embedded their own countdowns in other sites before they had a Pro Account.

The embed code that is provided to users with free accounts will display a link below the countdown when it is embedded in another website or blog. If you purchase a Pro Account you may wish to replace the embed code in sites where you have previously embedded countdowns using the free version of the code. When you purchase a Pro Account we update the embed code for ALL your countdowns so that it no longer contains the link. Therefore, you may simply locate the countdown on this site and get the updated embed code. Use this updated embed code to replace the old embed code on sites where you have already embedded your countdowns.

What happens to my countdown once the date has passed?

Countdown widgets will display the remaining time until the date you selected. Once the date you selected has passed the widget will continue to display the name and date of the event and will display zeros for the remaining time. That is, once the event date has passed the countdown will display 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. The countdown will NOT display negative values and will NOT remove itself once the selected date has passed.

Using repeating countdown clocks

When you are creating or editing your countdown clock you can find the repeat settings by clicking Advanced options. You may select from five options: None, Daily, Weekly, Yearly. The selection you make will affect how the countdown behaves once it gets to zero.

  1. None - Countdown displays zeros for all time values.
  2. Daily - Countdown adds one day to the event date and starts counting down to the new date.
  3. Weekly - Countdown adds one week to the event date and starts counting down to the new date.
  4. Monthly - Countdown adds one month to the event date and starts counting down to the new date.
  5. Yearly - Countdown adds one year to the event date and starts counting down to the new date.
